Watched 2012 today. That movie was awesome - in terms of CGI. I loved the little Sci-Fi-ish bit of the movie. There were two horror movie trailers before the movie; I forgot the title of one of them, but one of them's "Paranormal Activity". I was so scared (at the trailer) that I ended up playing "Snow Dance" to calm me down on the iPhone. Yes, I have a faint heart.

So anyways, I watched it at blitzmegaplex Grand Indonesia. Loved this place - and it was very crowded today. Turns out that iNAFFF is screening here today. iNAFFF stands for the Indonesia International Fantastic Film Festival. And I must say, it's truly a Fantastic Film Festival. Looked at the schedule for the day, saw so many films I'd love to watch. Some of them are Japanese films, too.

Why didn't I know about this before? If I knew I'd spend some time and money to watch it. And when I looked at the banner, they specified the genres they're going to screen. One genre I noticed was "ANIME". That's it, as soon as I'm home I'm definitely going to look it up. And yes, I'm typing this on the way home.

Anyways, back to 2012. I noticed a few brands sponsoring the movie, including Sony, obviously, since they're the ones who distribute it or something (I don't know, but I noticed "Sony Motion Pictures" or something similar on the credits and on the poster of the film. So the laptops were all Vaio and the cellphones were all Sony Erricsson. I enjoyed the whole movie. Honestly, I don't know what to say. I can never review movies, but I'm going to say it's a CGI masterpiece.

And I ran out of things to write even though there're a lot of things related to 2012 in my head. Watched it in Auditorium 1 today - loved THX. Took some pictures when I was there. My head kind of hurts so I'm going to sleep for a bit now if I can - see you later!

Kotone is the main female character of Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. I love her. I really love her. Her personality, as shown on the Pokemon anime, is awesome. And I just downloaded PicPosterous, an iPhone application that allows easy photo uploading from your iPhone - so I'm trying to upload a picture to see how this app works.

Assembly Practice Pictures

We had assembly practice today. It was fun. I became the technical stuff - you know, the one who manages the sound system and all of those stuff. We had some free time to take some pictures so - here goes! It's amazing how many Apple products (and RIM products) can be found at my school. And this one smart kid have a G1 running Android, another mobile OS I love. Speaking of Operating Systems, Google Chrome OS was revealed. Check it out - I myself found it awesome and am thinking of triple-booting my Windows Seven and Snow Leopard with it - but time will tell. What I was saying is that Chrome OS was worth a look.

にゃんこい! OP 「にゃんだふる!」

I haven't watched much anime recently. Partly because I'm very busy - or maybe because I was too lazy to download some. So anyways, one day, I was looking at my iTunes Genius Recommendations. And I must say, it's one Genius indeed. This song was recommended by iTunes - so I started to listen to it. Even though it's a (very) typical anime-ish OP theme song, it grew into me. I somehow loved it, especially the part from the 39-th second until the 62-nd second.

So I looked the anime up in YouTube and it's called "にゃんこい!" (Nyankoi!) - and I thought "Eh? This is interesting". I might start to watch their episodes if I have time. Even though I'm a dog person I still love cat-eared girls. Though dog-eared girls are better (google Wanko to Kurasou) but that's beside the point. The point is that this anime is interesting enough to make me Google it.

Let me tell you that it's a (very) typical anime, from the looks of the Opening theme. If you've watched it please tell me how the anime is. From the looks of it, I probably would stop watching after a few episodes - but yeah, I won't judge an anime based on the opening theme. Speaking of anime opening themes - only one anime opening theme have made me cry. Guess which opening was it? I guess I'll make another post about it later on. I'll tell you how this anime was in my opinion later on.

One of my friends just mentioned that it's a great love comedy and guess what? I love love comedies. I'll probably enjoy this anime so I'm going to download the first episode right now. It may turn out to be better than I initially thought. I haven't watched much anime this season, after all. Oh wow, for once iTunes is introducing me to a great anime!

神のみ

I love this manga. Chapter 68 came out yesterday. Read it last night. One of the very few manga I'm actually reading now (one of the other manga I'm reading is Kodomo no Jikan, for obvious reasons). Also, MangaFox is fast! They've added the current chapter today! Way better than OneManga (does anyone still use it anyways?).

Anyways, this manga is called... er... kami nomi zo shiru sekai. Which means "The World God Only Knows". But usually I'd shorten it to kami nomi (のみ) or TWGOK. It's about a guy, who apparently is the god of dating games, and his story of how he "captures" real world girls (because of something - you should read this manga on your own).

Seriously, it's awesome. One of the very few manga I actually like. It's really funny and I'm recommending everyone to read it. And I recommend everyone to read it at MangaFox, and to never open OneManga anymore. Uh, I don't know what to say - I've only read the first 68 chapters (it's still an ongoing manga, by the way) so I'll probably read more before giving a review or something. I'll just say this: I love this manga.

Got this e-mail today, and did their survey. My iPhone broke a few months ago, where the screen would just mess up and I can't touch anything (but the screen will act as if it were touched randomly all over the place). Took it to the Authorized Service Center in Mulia Tower, 55th Floor in Gatot Subroto, waited for about a week and received a new iPhone back.

I loved the whole process, but the only thing that annoys me is the time taken. Well, I can't blame them because I am living in Indonesia and the iPhone have to be sent to Apple South East Asia in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore to be checked and to see if I can get a new replacement phone - but still, one of my friends who bought an iPhone at New Zealand could get the phone checked and get a new phone at the same day at an Apple Store.

So yeah, that was my only complaint. Otherwise, I love Apple's Customer Service. I guess it's one of the perks of buying this iPhone through Telkomsel instead of going to the black market, huh? And my iPhone was Jailbroken - I just have to restore it back to its factory settings (with a click on iTunes) before sending it for repairs. Oh, and I was kind of surprised that the whole e-mail and survey is in Indonesian. I expected it to be in English.

A Windows User

I know Windows is awful. Everyone knows Windows is awful. Windows is like the faint smell of piss in a subway: it's there, and there's nothing you can do about it. It's grim, it's slow, everything's badly designed and nothing works properly: using Windows is like living in a communist bloc nation circa 1981. And I wouldn't change it for the world, because I'm an abject bloody idiot and I hate myself, and this is what I deserve: to be sentenced to Windows for life.

I love this article. Why haven't I read it before? It was published almost a week ago! Nevertheless, nice article.

Ringtone - Someone

(download)

Now in 320k greatness. I'm pretty sure I won't change this one. I have several types of ringtones, like for example one for "cool boys", one for "paranoid boys", one for "normal girls", one for "not-in-contact caller". They're all from the Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver soundtrack, which I'm going to review soon. This should give you a taste of what I'm going to review. It's my ringtone for a special someone - I doubt I'll ever change it. Because this ringtone means so much to me. Guess where it's from in the game. What do you think? I'll give more previews later on before reviewing the actual album. See you later!

Online Games

I'm starting to get into these online games again lately. Of course, the best online game ever on my mind is PangYa - if you know me, you know this fact. But I really, really hate the US server. I never played a game with someone who can speak English, even though the rules states that PangYa US is English only. I want to play with my friends - I can't see if they're online or not since the messenger is way too buggy. Seriously, it became so bad that I rarely play it nowadays. I really, really want to play PangYa JP, but as we know Gamepot IP-blocked any connections from outside Japan. PangYa US is so bad that I will pay money to get a VPN to play PangYa JP. But since I don't know which VPN is good - I'm stuck here playing PangYa on my PSP and Wii. If anyone can help me get one contact me. I'm serious.

Next, Bright Shadow. This game is US-server based and GamepotUSA run them. Yes, Gamepot in Japan is the company that runs PangYa JP. I just hope they don't IP-block this game for connections outside the US. I first knew about it from some of my friends talking about the Open Beta in my Twitter timeline. Then I saw the graphics, and all of the game. Really wanted to play it, so I downloaded the game when the Open Beta first opened. Took me around 4 days to download it with my amazingly slow internet, but that doesn't matter. It was all worth it. I had so much fun playing it with my friends - too bad it's still released prematurely (it is called the Open Beta after all). 2nd Class haven't been released and the level is capped at level 40. So yeah, I just go in to check the events from now and then - and grind when I'm bored. I really does look forward to every update, like how I'm looking forward to any update on TinierMe.

And now, Emil Chronicle Online. I know someone said that it's a sucky game, but since Mi's playing it, I want to try it. So first, I downloaded the Indonesian server, while waiting for the Singaporean server to download (where Mi's playing). Look at the pictures below to see what happened. If you want some translation, many of them are saying stuff like "I'll pay you 120k to level up my character" or "1 million gold for only 50k! Call me / SMS me at 08xxxxxxx". It ruins the fun of playing online games for me. And as soon as you start going away from Newbie Island, many people are going to start saying "Hey bro, can I have some money?" and stuff like that. Indonesian online gamers are really, as bad as, if not worse such as in the case of Hotgila, than Brazillians. I can't wait for my Singaporean Emil Chronicle Online game client to finish downloading, where I can finally try out the game without being bothered by mindless Indonesians.

And the last one was Dragonica. This is also a Singapore-based server online game. But from the way it looks, it's pretty fun. No, it's REALLY fun. At least two of my friends are playing it, including my girlfriend. I can't wait to try this one out as well. Anyways, if anyone else have an online game they want to recommend to me, feel free to do so. Although I'm only going to play Free to Play online games. No Pay to Play online games like World of Warcraft, please, except if the game, graphics and sound is as good as PangYa. Hmm, I'll download Tales Weaver next. Saw an advertisement on it in Nico Nico Douga. Hoping it's not IP-blocked.
